Mama Maestra Spanish Enrichment Education believes that everyone deserves to learn a second language. Our goal is to teach Spanish the way we learned our first language. In an organic way, our program focuses on giving the learners messages they understand so they can acquire a new language. In addition, Mama Maestra Spanish Enrichment Education focuses on enriching communities by providing an understanding of the different cultures that the Spanish language has.
Our curriculum meets the California Spanish Language Development Standards and the ACTFL standards with an effective pedagogy following Dr. Stephen Krashen’s theories of second language acquisition.
